Students are strongly encouraged to apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA). Once the FAFSA has been completed, the information is processed by the United States Department of Education and the results are forwarded to schools listed on the Student Aid Report (SAR). The earlier your file your FAFSA, the more options for aid you will have. The FAFSA opens on January 1 each year. Our priority processing deadline for the FAFSA is April 1. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the Perimeter College financial aid office
In addition to applying for financial aid using the FAFSA, Perimeter College students may also apply for student scholarships through the Georgia Perimeter Foundation Scholarship Program
. These scholarships are funded through private donations and offer support based on students' merit, service, and/or need. International students may also apply for these scholarships unless a scholarship states that applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents.
Students are also encouraged to search for scholarships using Georgia State's Scholarship Resource Center
, which features an online database of hundreds of student scholarships. This resource is available to students regardless of financial aid eligibility status.
